Commentary
Carney buying support with Grocery Benefit Instead of doing the economically sound, free market solutions to lowering the ever-growing cost of living by Cutting the Inflationary Deficit, Lowering Taxes, and Ending the Tariff Tax.
Mark Carney's Liberals have decided to only give back just a sliver of a percent of our tax dollars to a select 12 million Canadians, an amount that will swiftly be swallowed up by inflation and rising costs.
This is just a temporary stopgap, the Libertarian Party would implement permanent, economically sound solutions.
CPC Convention Disaster
Over the weekend of Jan 29th-31st, the CPC had their convention in Calgary, Alberta. Overall it was what was expected, a party establishment controlled affair filled with controversy. Whether it was turning away people at the door for being pro-Alberta independence while keeping their application fees, party infighting around social issues, or a lack of commitment to small government policy, one thing is for sure: we need Libertarians in government to represent Liberty and Small Government because the CPC cannot be trusted to do so.
