David Sabine

Airdrie—Cochrane

David is a pragmatic problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit. Deeply committed to efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement, with over 30 years of experience in software product development and digital systems management, he has built a career helping organizations streamline workflows, reduce waste, and embrace complex environments.

As a father, David strives to create opportunities for future generations that are greater than those he inherited. He understands that real progress comes not from empty promises but from deliberate action and well-structured systems. His work as a management consultant and in change management reflects this belief, helping teams and businesses unlock their potential by focusing on meaningful outcomes.

David is a thought-leader in his field, co-authoring books and blogs on cloud services, project management, and software product development. He has spoken at industry events, including a NIST conference on cybersecurity and software supply chains in 2024 and TEDxFortMcMurray in 2012.

He has also written extensively about government inefficiencies, including a book on the failures of Canada’s Phoenix Payroll System, a case study in bureaucratic mismanagement.

David grew up in Saskatchewan and has lived and worked throughout USA and Canada. Regina, Fort McMurray, Phoenix, Port Canaveral, Bahamas, Ottawa, Toronto, London (ON) and has returned to the western prairie where he now lives in Airdrie with his wife and daughters. When he isn’t driving organizational change or building new ventures, you might find him at a music school supporting his daughters' music lessons, refining his marksmanship, or enjoying time with friends and family.
