The Libertarian Party of Canada was re-confirmed as an official party under the Canada Elections Act and it is time to get the word out.
I’m happy to report that on September 8, 2022, Elections Canada informed us that regarding the Triennial Confirmation of Members, the party had satisfied the requirements set out in subsection 407(2) of the Canada Elections Act. I would like to thank all the members who helped us get there by signing the required form.
Now that we have that hurdle cleared and that many venues are once again allowing in-person meetings, I would like to go out on a speaking tour to promote the party. I believe there are university clubs, community groups and organizations that hold regular group functions for business or social reasons, and I’m told that many are receptive to have guest speakers.
While I will be contacting many myself to inquire, I would appreciate your help in identifying as many as possible particularly if you reside outside of Ontario. If you have any leads, please let me know. I would aim to travel in November.
